SPRINGREEN is a NATURALLY COMPLETE FOOD CONCENTRATE for use as a dietary supplement. SPRINGREEN is made from one or more of the dried extracted juices of the ORGANICALLY GROWN, young, green cereal grass leaves of barley, oats, rye and wheat. The leaves are cut at the first joint stage. This stage has been proven to provide the most nutrients. The grasses are ground up, with 93% of the fiber removed, the juice extracted and then chilled. It is then dehydrated by our quick roll-vacuum dried method which retains a maximum amount of the enzymes, minerals, mineral activators and amino acids. Immediately after drying it is ground into a fine powder, then tableted. The oxygen is removed from each bottle and replaced with nitrogen. In this state the vitamin and enzyme loss without refrigeration is infinitesimal. Once the bottle is opened, however, there will be much less loss if kept refrigerated.

On our 510 acre farm in Missouri we grow the grasses on organically and biologically enriched soils. No chemical fertilizers are used nor are poisonous insecticides or pesticides used or needed. The organically nourished soil produces grass that contains 25 to 35% protein.

The cereal grasses are a complete food in themselves and need no other food to complement or complete them. herds of cattle, horses, deer, antelope and elephants have roamed the plains for centuries and lived exclusively on this ONE COMPLETE FOOD, the GRASSES.

The GRASSES contain all elements needed to support life. In fact, EVERY vitamin, amino acid, enzyme and mineral needed to support animal life that has been discovered in all other vegetation in the world can be found in the GRASSES. In addition, many other FACTORS needed in the reproduction and growth of animal life have been proven to exist in the Grasses, but they have not vet been ISOLATED or NAMED. The GRASSES also are the ONE FOOD that is NON-TOXIC in any quantity.

In 1934 a U.S. Patent was granted covering a discovery that as the FIRST JOINT of a cereal grass emerges through the ground the YOUNG, RAPIDLY GROWING GREEN GRASS LEAVES have reached the zenith of their nutritional power and contain much greater potencies of ENZYMES, AMINO-ACIDS, VITAMINS and MINERALS than they will contain even a week later. This is because the FIRST JOINT contains the embryo of the future culms of barley, oats, rye and wheat. As the kernels develop they gradually absorb the valuable nutrients from the green grass, leaving only stalks of straw. Only by harvesting at this stage (which lasts but 4 days) can we obtain grasses containing this high potency of nutrients balanced BY NATURE.

This harvesting stage for and barley, oats, rye and wheat comes in early spring and late fall when the weather is extremely variable - from sunshine to rain, or frost and snow. The result of this volatile weather is that 50 to 75% of the crops are unable to be harvested, thus materially increasing costs. We stand by our principles of using the most quality, nutritionally potent cereal grasses. We do not use binders or fillers which would lessen the nutritional value of SPRINGREEN.
